Kakudiya Pokuna temple complex in Mihintale. Sri Lanka

KakudiyaPokuna temple complex in Mihintale was built for the monks Dhammaruchika sect by King Kasyapa IV (ad 898 – 914). There is a pond, about 200ft in length and the width is 70ft. Having fallen the Silhouetteof flora and rocks, the water in the Pond has become dark colour.
